I bet it has a problem navigating a bike path!

I can't believe it get anywhere near 50mph.  Looks like a bit like a human hamster ball!

I'll bet it does 50 mph downhill ,careening out of control and destroying everything in its path.
I was wondering how I'd get it upstairs and into my appartment.

Presumably the rider does not rotate as well??  Can we be sure of that??

For every action there is an equal an opposite reaction.  It looks to me as if the rider is pivoted to the wheel so to accelerate the wheel the rider will rotate backwards.  The riders centre of gravity is bellow the pivot point but it looks like they would still swing violently (especially with no front wheel).

The funniest thing about it all it that the inventor is claming that you would be safer in traffic! I wonder if the whole thing isn't an early April fool!

I will look out for one . . .  though I think I may have to wait a while . . .

We are ski-ing in the Aosta Valley (Courmayeur, Italy) next week - and there are some lovely cycling routes around there.  I should paint Rohloff on my ski jacket and see what happens . . .
