How is the new shifter working for you.
Hi Pete! I'll have the full report up here in the next couple days if the weather will only cooperate so I can take the last couple of photos needed to show them properly. They are black on my black Nomad and very hard to photograph clearly when there is so much rain outdoors as we've had.
I field-tested them hard for a good three months in a variety of severe conditions -- heat, cold, rain, frozen rain, a dust storm -- and can report fairly on what I've found in use.
When considering them, I think the first thing to ask is whether a trigger shifter will fit your needs better than the original twist-shifter. As with many things, I found the outcome dependent on meeting setup requirements and conditions. They aren't for every Rohloff bicycle and the setup is very different from the original Rohloff shifter and external shiftbox.
