Hi All!

Well found Dan. It shows the weakness of what you would consider a perfectly good mesuring tool.

The one good tool, from Shimano, is €65 from CRC...

Or you could just replace your chain every 5000km like me and never bother checking for wear.

I've never in my life made 5000km on one chain. Nearest was 4605km, by dint of regular careful measurement.
