Hello!
Mine has arrived. I have fitted pedals etc and I am out for a ride soon.
Good points are:- It is hardly marked and it is really lightweight.
Bad points are:- Newish rear wheel, pretty worn front. Mudguard at rear needs replacing. No pump fitting pegs!!!
See you later,
John

Congratulations, John; may you enjoy many happy miles together!

As for the pump peg...don't forget the Zefal nylon pump peg and/or Doohicki. These do wonders for fitting a frame-fit pump behind the seat tube if you wish.

Best,

Dan. (...who is very much looking forward to photos and future ride reports; John's bikes are always very nicely turned-out)

New rear rim was fitted (this is a bad point??) as the other had a dent on the sidewall, front has plenty of life left, mudguard was a bit twisted but fully functional, Sport Tours didn't have pump pegs, on sporty bikes Andy figured people would have a mini pump.

Dave,
Rear wheel is a good point!
Re no pump pegs, it is that one gets usedv to Thorn bikes with them rather than without! Extra expense for a tiny pump to be carried in saddlebag.
Neither point was a complaint, merely observation/feedback.
Overall very happy. Needs shaped bars though as these straight ones are not to my liking at all. The grips and bar ends however are very comfortable.
John
