Unequal leg-length can be a real problem to accommodate when cycling. For many years, T/A's top quill road pedal was available with height-adjustable cages. Some people use unequal-length crankarms, and there have occasionally been "swinging gate" crankarms made for this problem, where the pedal on one side attached to a pivot in the crankarm, allowing the shorter leg to describe a smaller arc.
If you can get there with easier fit adjustments (saddle height, stem adjustments, etc), that will be just outstanding. Yeah! Here's hoping for the best, Pete!
