I am a little skeptical, I think your bike will get "yocked" anyway, and sold on the black market or moved abroad, but it might be worthwhile checking it out.

You can buy a registration package and check for stolen bikes :)
Pedal to the metal! Wind, rain, hills, braking power permitting ;)

Rather late to the party but ...

I have just marked up our bikes with this system and would point any new users to the how-to video on the www site,  I put too much marker compound on the first bike and although the text is legible there has been some 'bleeding' which looks unsightly.  There's no need to use anywhere near the whole content of the tube,  just enough to fill the holes in the stencil.
