In the beginning publicity photos and information
«

I've had a lovely read through the stickies which has been really interesting, and must have been a real labour of love to put together.
Is there anything, anywhere publicity or bike spec-wise which goes back to the earliest days of Thorn? I've tried looking for information on my Club Tour, which I understand was built in 1995, but just cannot find anything.
Can anyone help with any snippets of information?
Thanks in advance

Hi Adrian!
Closest I can get to your vintage (which you've probably already seen in the "Stickies") is 2003 Club Tour description here...

...and...
A 2005 description here...

Both these links are live for me as of today, but beware; Wayback Machine links sometimes go down for extended periods so if these appeal, be sure to download (print-to-PDF) a copy.
Basic geometry might well resemble yours, though components and fork configuration might well differ.
I'm guessing your older Club Tour has the traditional quill stem?
I'll keep my eyes open for anything more relevant to your needs and will post here if I find something.
Best, Dan.

Thanks Dan, yes I have seen this, which I guess is the Mk2 or 3 Club Tour. Yes, mine has a quill stem, and thank you, anything from the very early days would be helpful. I'm particularly interested to know what the wheelbase was.
Many thanks
