Club Tour or Mercury
« on: January 04, 2023, 09:53:19 PM »
I am thinking about buying a Club Tour or a Mercury. I am 6 foot and live near to London.

Anyone thinking of selling one?

Thanks,

Stephen.

Thanks for this.

Looks to be a lovely bike and it is just what I am looking for.  I am not sure about the size though and I fear it is too small.

Can anyone else advise about sizing? I am six foot and cycle in trainers.

I will think about this more.

Stephen.

Stephen,
You may have already found a bike but just saw your post. I am selling a Nomad in mint condition which I purchased intending to cycle to Australia. It has a Rohloff hub and has smooth gear changes. I'm 5'11'' and it's set up for that as a minimum height. Haven't thought about a price yet but somewhere around £1700 I think. There are quite a few extras. I'll be advertising it at the usual places in April.
Thanks,
Richard

Thanks, Richard. I have been, over, thinking about my bike choice and I am now fairly settled on a Club Tour if it is from Thorn.
I hope that you sell your Nomad easily.
All the best.
Stephen.
