Has anyone replaced their connecting (front) chain on a tandem with a Gates belt? Is fitting a belt and replacing chainrings an option? I suspect that there may not be enough space to fit the Gates compatible chainring on the inside of the standard Thorn chainring, but really would like to know if any Thorn tandem owner has done this.
