I have them on my Thorn. I got them retrofitted and am glad to have done so. It wasn't cheap (£500?) but I've made most of that back in reduced fees and the rest in convenience. On a tour the amazing thing about it is the ability to fit your bike in pretty much any car, instead of having to put it in a pick-up truck or some serious dismantling. I'm home briefly now and so sent my bike to SJS to get it serviced, and posting it down in one package would have been maybe £50? and SJS were going to charge £60 to post it back. As I had S&S couplings, I made two small boxes, put one half of the bike in each box and posted down for £20. It only cost £10 to have it shipped back to me. That there is already £80 saved!
