Some amazing stunts on road bikes...stuff normally done with BMX/MTB.

So who wants to try this on their Thorn?  ;D

I want to try some bunny hops on the XTC now  ;)

Wicked cool, eh?  Esp liked the hop over the tennis net.  These days, I have trouble doing that without a bike...

Not quite in the domain of Clever Tricks on Plastic Bikes:  On my shakedown cruise to Prince Edward County last week (more on that to come) I ran over a tree branch left on the road after a serious micro-burst a couple of days earlier -- maybe 8 - 10 cms thick, not a skinny thing at all -- but my Raven + 40 mm Supremes + chainglider handled it with no problems at all.  I was a bit anxious as I had two bottles of wine in my front panniers, and with a damn great pickup truck coming up just abreast of me, so I had no option but to hit the branch, square on. Not to be repeated any time soon, I hope, but good to know the bike can handle such things.

Never trick and cycle, you may spill your drink  ;D (wine)

I had to go into huge round stones/loose grit on cycle tour. Hate it. But that's where a tourers long behind comes into play...the XTC came into play as a light rough stuff beastie.
