Hi all,

Thanks for the warm welcome Dan. I've been lurking for a while and bought the "Nice looking Sherpa 535L on Ebay" featured here recently :)
It's a cracking bike and seller was a real gent. I just bought a Carradice Super C bar bag but found the fit against the brake levers and cabling too tight - hence need for an extension.

Original owner has since offered me said accessory bar GRATIS! So I'm sorted. Thanks anyway ians, otherwise I would have bitten your hand off at £10!

Alan

My, Alan, what a fantastic looking bike! I'm always grateful when a Forum follower (I was one for 7 years myself before joining) or member buys a used Thorn that has been mentioned previously. It is always fun to see how the bikes evolve and are personalized to meet their new owner's needs.

This one looks light and lively and just about perfect on all counts -- and will be perfect now you can fit your HB bag without interference!  :D

All compliments on taking a cracking good photo that also shows the bike to fine advantage with such an attractive background. This could easily be a brochure cover.

All congratulations on your new ride, Alan. Looking forward to seeing more of it in our galleries.

Best,

Dan.
