The owner/says he is 5' 11' with inside leg 29in.

Looks rather splendid. Built in 2000.

£2000 asked for a 14 year old derailleur bike? Did I misread the advert?

A new Thorn Sherpa is from £1300

I'm glad someone else mentioned the price .It does seem a tad on the expensive side.  Good luck to the seller.

Thorns are always more expensive than you think - it soon adds up if you don't have the basic spec. £2000 is what you might have to pay and the bike is, more or less, new. However, it is second hand. I don't know if that as-new Sherpa is still unsold. My guess is that it won't get its price. It's always the worry that if you buy a brand new bike (or car!) you will lose a lot of you sell it too soon. It will be interesting to see what happens.
