New tandem

Pick up our new Thorn tandem on Monday.  Can't wait to get out on it.  We have a trip to Ireland booked for the tandem in June with two friends on solos.
This is our second tandem, current one is a Dawes which we have had for 12 years.

Hi Tandempair (both of you!) and welcome to the Thorn Cycling Forum!

My, what exciting news! Never does the concept of elastic time seem more clear than when awaiting the arrival of a new bike -- and a tandem means double the anticipation.

So looking forward to photos in the gallery after it arrives. No doubt, it will be everything you're hoping for and more. May many happy rides pass beneath your wheels.

Hallo there,

Looking also for a trip in Ireland for our beloved Samba Tandem - and yet struggling to prepare also a rohloff based one....
