Strange-looking device, jags, for sure. It does look like a leaf rake.

Just to the right of the Manta, on the gizmag site, is a photolink to the "Infinity" seat:

http://www.gizmag.com/infinity-bicycle-seat/29481/

Expensive at US$195, esp since there seems to be not a lot of material involved--trick hi-tech plastics in the saddle's frame, maybe?  The video makes a good case -- but who knows?  Might be worth tracking if & when it appears.

Leaving aside any affinity one might have with medieval torture ( think Judas chair!) I imagine it would be rather forgiving for those suffering from chalfonts!

My Ass would also be in pain!
We have Seatbones to seat on! So why not seat on your seat bones?
When you seat on your seatbones you have a fixed point to use the power in your legs

Two mad designs to add to the 1,000's of hair brain ideas that come out to fix cycling!

Time to go cycling

Pete

That actually might work. As any non-weight bearing tissue also gets pressed on by the saddle. Everybody who encountered an unexpected pothole knows what I'm talking about...the sitbones soak it up the bits upfront...YEOW!

The manta saddle...er no I don't see it. Looks like sitting on a grate...

It looks like a multimedia-multifinger stylus that took a wrong turning into the torture department.

LOL :D

I can think of a few things to lower the tone now...

...but I shall leave that to the imagination.
