ebay: Very nice Thorn 725 road bike, listed as 54cm

Not mine.

Very pretty 700C Thorn road bike dating from ~2000 with lots of nicely taken photos in the description. The description indicates a 9-sp all-Shimano drivetrain that is a mix of Ultegra, 105, and Tiagra. Custom paint job makes it a pleasure to see.

This could be Jags' or Jawine's next bike, or one for someone of similar size. A real beauty.

Best,

Dan.

Yes it's more a true road bike. Where 54 is a bit big for me...

The Ciocc is nearly done I don't need two road bikes :)

Though an XTC in 525S with drop bars or 500S...one day maybe. Rare as hen's teeth.
Pedal to the metal! Wind, rain, hills, braking power permitting ;)

Interesting... If I'm reading the description correctly, the seat tube is 46 CM which makes it a small frame.

The 54 is the top tube measurement.

It does sound like good value to me.

Cheers,

pj ....who is in Australia and therefore can't be tempted.

Yes you're right, it does seem to be incorrectly sized in the listing title, much smaller than a 54cm frame more like 50cm -51cm I'd say. No takers yet with 18 hours to go.
