Day tour - Clarkefield to Darraweit Guim by our touring club, Melbourne Bicycle Touring Club. A nice cool 24C day.

Very nice, Pete; I hope this signals some small break in the heat you've been enduring. Anything has to be an improvement over what you've suffered!

Nice looking group there; enjoyed seeing your linked photos.

All the best,

Dan.

Pete,
Looks great cycling.
But 24? and all wearing lots of clothing?

Here in the UK our top summer temperatures these days are around 15-20? - we keep that warm clothing for when it gets below 10?
Julian.

:o  ???

We were just wearing long sleeve jerseys, t-shirt with a long top, or short jersey and arm-warmers (many use long sleeves for sun protection). It was a cool wind blowing, 24 in Melbourne but probably a couple of degrees less up at Clarkefield.

Below 10 I'd have thermals, jersey and a windproof fleece - at least 3 layers.
