My xtc and our tandem
« on: November 25, 2012, 03:16:57 PM »
As new to this forum and having posted my wife's xtc to Sherpa photo.

I thought it only right to add our other two machines.  The saddle covers always brighten many peoples rainy day.

What a wonderful gallery entry; each worthy of a page of its own! Any photos available of them "out in the wild"?

Good idea to use the saddle covers with the wet days of Fall and winter upon us; blue for the captain and pink with lace for the stoker, fun stuff!

Fantastic machines, and very nicely maintained, from the looks of it; should last forever with your good care, and a real treat to see the rest of your stable. Thanks for the treat!

Best,

Dan.

Hardly in the wild, taken at a lunch stop just off a cycle track.
Just south of Bordeaux 2010,
We have been touring in France every year for 25 years.
My favourite French holiday photo is this one of my wife near the top of Mont Ventoux, sorry she not on a Thorn

I should add riding Ventoux should be on ever cyclists to do ride.

Great pics. XTC's rock. I think they would get my vote for the best bike thorn made. Mines a 1997 short wheelbase version. It rides beautifully.

Great pics   :)

I have an XTC, and I love it even though we had a bumpy start (needed fixes, short stem, top tube a tad long) I can't comment on riding a tandem but I guess it's a relationship make or break item  ;D
Pedal to the metal! Wind, rain, hills, braking power permitting ;)
