I have a 2009 Thorn Raven Discovery Tandem equipped with a rohlofff with an EX box. We recently purchased a Chariott trailer which we are looking to tow our newly born son in. Unfortunately due to the external shifter on the rohloff I am unable to put the trailer hitch onto the rear axle.
Has anyone any experience of practically solving this? Thorn suggested I could use some washers onto the rear axle to put the chariott tow bracket further away from the rohlofff shifter which could work but I am nervous about whether this could result in the trailer coming loose or damaging the rohloff.
