I'm selling my Thorn Mercury, which I've had since July 2020. I bought it from its original owner.
I am asking for £1,200.Some key points:
- Reynolds 853 frame
- Rohbox shifter
- Campagnolo Athena brifters adapted for Rohbox
- Custom wheels by RyanBuildsWheels in Bristol
- Tubeless tyres (currently fitted with G-Ones)
- Brooks B17 saddle
- Bottom bracket replaced in 2022
- HexLox ready (you will need to supply your own HexLox, but the axles are all Allen key removable)
- Hope F20 pedals
Frame geometry is as follows:
- Top tube length: 55cm
- Seat tube length: 52cm
- Wheelbase: 104cm
- Chainstay length: 43cm
- Front centre: 62cm
- Bottom bracket height: 29cm
I'm not sure which version of the Mercury this is, but I would imagine it's Mk1 or Mk2. Something to be aware of - the front wheel rim is not in the best nick. The wheel would probably need replacing over the next year or two, and this is reflected in the price.
