Thorn Mercury Mk2 for sale
Size is 550L which suit riders 5ft 7ins - 5ft 10ins, I'm just under the latter and have found it fine, for those unfamiliar with Thorn sizing 550L is flatbar frame with a long toptube, 550s is a dropbar frame with shorter toptube.
I've owned, from new since 2016, condition is very good. Rohloff oil change has been performed yearly, as has eccentric bottom bracket and seatpost greasing to prevent risk of seizure.
Frame is Reynolds 853 main triangle, seat and chainstays Reynolds 725.
Forks upgraded to 853, but I am including the original ST700 forks that have low rider bosses for fitment of front pannier. This fork has a longer stearer tube for a more upright riding stance.
Also included Tubus Vega carrier.
£1000. it is only advertised here. This avoids me having to pay EBAY commission that I would have to pass on to the prospective buyer.
