eXp frame
« on: November 24, 2021, 09:49:24 AM »
Last spring I bought a tired eXp off Gumtree and then spent as much again in making it usable. Having done a couple of short trips on it last year in this country and having a growing affection for it I now don't mind that - in retrospect - I could have bought a ready-to-ride, cared-for bike for less. Now, only a week ago I was crowing at having sourced another eXp as a winter renovation project (this one more exhausted than tired!)- but this one is not one that I will ever ride (it's for a 6' person minimum IMO) and I have realised that in the current market I can only lose money if I go ahead and restore it properly myself. The frame needs someone to rebuild it for the sheer pleasure of it; so, would anyone (tall) out there be interested in making me an offer on a handbuilt 'KS' stamped frame that (according to the 2005 order form) would have cost £1200?

Hi, yes and no. There is a 6-digit number under which are stamped the initials 'KS'.
