With you there, Mike. 

I stayed away from FB years back -- didn't want to spend any more time feeding the (e-)machine. (I can barely keep up with my correspondence.)  That was a matter of inertia & being jealous of my time; now, with the villainy of Big Tech becoming all too evident, I'm considering revising my history to make it a stand on principle.

I Have a facebook account only on account of the fact that the animal rescue group that I volunteer for uses it.  But no way will I use that horrible platform for anything else.  It is Forum or death for me.
