Thanks for the info on that Carradice rack.  But with the design of the Conquest without saddle bag loops, it looks like I would be out of luck.  My Flyer and B17 have saddle bag loops, but the B17 is on my indoor trainer, my Flyer only gets limited outdoor use on trips where I am unlikely to use the drops on my drop bars since the Flyer and B17 are not very comfortable to me when I lean that far forward on the drops.

I have been thinking it would be nice if I could fabricate something like this:

But, that also will not work on the Conquest.  But the quick release would be great if it did.
