Fossicking
« on: March 06, 2016, 04:40:28 PM »
As my Nomad is a getting a thorough clean-up ( ;)) I thought I might take a walk along one of my usual cycling routes. I was quite surprised to find the detritus of rides since past strewn about. Sadly none of it is any use to me, so I shall pass it on, but it does remind me to check my Nomad's fixtures and fittings.

That's quite a haul, Ian!

In recent days, I've found a few items myself. Unlike yours, which seem to run heavily toward mudguard-related items, mine are all brake-related. Pads, pad-retaining nuts and washers, even whole calipers(!).

I wondered why the riders didn't notice and stop, then realized they may have noticed but *couldn't* stop!  :o

A good reminder to all to check those fittings; thanks!

All the best,

Dan.
