Anto,

Here's a range of fenders (mudguards) to take your mind off your tum:

http://store.velo-orange.com/index.php/accessories/fenders.html?fender_size=67

Then again, if it's a dream bike & you're using Grand Bois tires, then cost is no object (!!??) & you need a set of these to match your tires:  http://www.compasscycle.com/fenders.html

I've used the VO alloy fenders on my Raven for a year now, and they're very good indeed, and reasonably priced too.  Very long, so lots of coverage.

Good luck!

Busch and Muller Luxos is the one that'll charge up your electronic goodies. Or you could splurge and get a Schmidt Edelux and a Plug. After all, you just won the lottery!

I had the BandM but the housing corroded and paint flaked. I now have a plug III and edelux II. If it's a dream bike I would go for the edelux/plug.
