Goodness, those are nice looking wheels...especially for the price.

Dunno what to make of the reason. He wouldn't be the first to make that mistake.  If he is "of a certain age", bifocals could do it.

Seems OK to me, if in doubt email Rohloff with the serial number.

Looks an attractive buy

Even with the small parts you will have to buy to make it fit your frame, it looks like around half of the new price. That's a laser-engraved Rohloff hub, so not ancient either.
