Thorn nomad mk2 590L/M
« on: May 22, 2014, 11:03:00 AM »
Hello,
After a lot of reading on the website, I would be after such a bike:

Thorn Nomad mk2 590L/M, I don't mind the colour.
Ideally with suspension fork but could do with normal one.

I could swap with a Sherpa 560XL red.
PM me if you have something to offer.
Regards,
Etienne

There is an ex-demo one, a 590L on the SJS site at a discount right now. No pictures yet. Here's the link: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/thorn-nomad-590l-yellow-touring-expedition-bike-ex-demo-prod34541/

Thanks in4. Although I wouldn't mind a nicely used one as new prices are too high for me...

They are a considerable investment for sure. There is a mk1 nomad with s s couplings on ebay at the moment. I know its not a rohloff but my mk1 nomad is a joy to ride. Unless you are hauling  big kgs across the tatras it might be worth a look and perhaps a 'considered' bid/offer ;)

Not mine either!

Well, I don't want a Nomad for the sake of having a Nomad  ;D I've a Sherpa mk2 which is very close to the Nomad mk1.

I would like a Nomad mk2 in these sizes to be able to fit a suspension fork on and do a bit of off road with it. I really like the idea of having a bike which purpose could be completely modified by just changing the fork. Two bikes in one makes the investment much more worth it!

Obviously, the Sherpa mk2 would have to go if such a Nomad mk2 were to turn up!

Patience is a vertue ....  ::)    ;D
