Stolen Thorn Sherpa 560 in red

Thought I'd mention this here just in case any members come across this bike advertised somewhere on the web.

The bike belongs to a mate of mine and was stolen from outside his flat in Brighton a couple of weeks ago. It's a red Thorn Sherpa 560 flat bar tourer with bar ends, specced pretty much as it came from the shop. Mainly kitted out with Deore components and front and rear Thorn racks  At the time it was stolen it was fitted with a well worn Brooks saddle. The frame is in used condition, quite a few scratches and chips. My mate has reported the theft to the police.

If you come across this bike advertised anywhere, I'd appreciate it if you could pm me. Thanks in advance.

I came across this yesterday and no, it's not. I should have mentioned that the bike in question has black bars and stem. Also, my mate has taken the mudguards off his.

Beware! My Club Tour was stolen last year and a kind soul saw a Gumtree ad after a post like yours. Like you I saw the picture and dismissed it, but turned out the picture used was not of the bike being sold to disguise the ad and short version, it was identified as most probably mine by careful questions and recovered by the Police (who were excellent). I see ad refers to rear rack, which does not appear in the picture....Good luck, even if this is not the bike and don't give up!
