Exposure Revo Mk1 Dynamo Bike Light
« on: June 17, 2013, 01:28:49 AM »
Hi All,
This anyone got or looked at the Exposure Revo Mk1 Dynamo Bike Light  ???

1st off Exposure Lights have been around for years making so of the best LED Lights, I have good one for there older (two years old) Battrey Lights and it is Great.

So I'm looking at getting a Dynamo Hub and thinking about lights at the same time.

This must be one of the most powerful dynamo lights made so far  :o and here is the link and Photo!

Hi Pete!

That's a nice-looking light, for sure, and very powerful. Looking closely at the design, it doesn't appear it would have a horizontal cutoff to the beam.

It would be ideal for use on trails, where one could easily see overhanging branches, but I'd be a little concerned about using it on the road for fear it could blind oncoming drivers.

I guess the appropriateness depends on primary usage. It seems to have a generous standlight time at around 10 minutes or so.

The dynohub looks real interesting; it appears to be a Shutter Precision model.

Best,

Dan.

I came across this review of an alternative Light on the CyclingSeven website. Worth a look I think. http://cycleseven.org/hope-vision-1-led-front-light-review
