I wrote not so long ago that the main competition to the BUMM Cyo, and considered by many to be a superior lamp, is the Philips Safe Ride lamp, but that it is more expensive and more difficult to source. Now, in a link to a dealer provided by Jags on another subject, we discover Safe Rides of several types (dynamo, battery, pedelec) in stock by a dealer who is known to post all over the world, and at a discount too.
Basically there are:
a rear lamp, either dynamo or battery powered, €28-€32; it is considered better than BUMM's Toplight Line by the police in The Netherlands, who tested it:

http://www.dutchbikebits.com/index.php?route=product/product&keyword=Safe+Ride&category_id=0&product_id=255 The rear lamp has a ring of light to avoid the single blinding bright spot. The front lamp has optics to shape the light falling on the road so as not to blind oncoming cyclists or motorists; it also has usable side throw (a constant complaint about the BUMM lamps). The battery light also has a 20 lux power conservation mode. These lamps are also watertight to a far greater extent than BUMM lamps.
