A one day auction with a poor description a low start, no reserve and a seller with no feedback.

Either one to be wary of a a bargain in the offing.

I got the size from him, it is    NUMBER IS 560XL 16010
It is in Penzance which is a long long way for most people!

Just out of interest.
How are Thorn bikes marked? Is there a frame number code under the bottom bracket?
Is there a central record held by Thorn? Can you ask them for info on the date of origin from the frame number?

The later models have the frame size and serial number under the bottom bracket. The earlier ones do not have the frame size on. Not sure if sjs keep a detailed record but sure they would be able to give an idea of production date from it.
