They *do* look remarkably happy for all they've been through! First, they were cooked in rat-infested kitchens, then fed a diet of lizard. Reminds me of a "man bites dog" story with the headline lead-in, but a wonderful adventure for them both.
It's incredible they've started out from scratch, so to speak, and with her almost completely unfamiliar with a bicycle. And to to it on a tendem, as well. Good thing it's a Thorn. I see the Rohloff hub there as well....
I especially liked their route and their film trailer; they've a good sense of humor.
