There's a bit of a cycling movement starting here too....
Still plenty of kerb crawling or annoyed drivers due to no room for a bike and car but painted on cycle lanes do seem to create some awareness of two wheelers. AKA Rolling Speedbumps
Few accidents here, as everybody goes on the kerb, just lots of potholes and annoyed drivers. But all in all, there's reasonable peace between drivers and cyclists, but it's seen as dangerous...which is unfortunate as cycling isn't, by numbers of fatalities per miles cycled, dangerous.
