Hi Chris,

A word of advice, please remove the "not dawes, surly, thorn, koga miyata, giant, specialized" from the title, it is called Key word spamming, and is it not only very annoying when you are searching for something specific, it is against Ebay rules and if an Ebay user reports it your item will be pulled and you will have to start all over again.

you can't change the title apparently so for this time i'm just gonna have to be "that guy" who key word spams! (and hopes it doesn't get removed)

Yes, unfortunately once you have a bid placed on your item you can't edit anything only add additional notes.

If you are selling up to buy a Thorn you might like one of these: http://www.thorncycles.co.uk/models.html

That should help a little!

Cheers

Best of luck, Chris.  It is a fine-looking bike, and I'm glad you also included the "action shot".  It is encouraging to see 5 bids this early in the game; bodes well for you!

Looking forward to the time when we see you on your Thorn.  ;)

Best,

Dan.

just so people know the listing got removed by ebay! i didn't get charged for it it though just a shame because it was doing really well but it was maybe partly my fault because i drew attention to it by contacting ebay to try and get ride of my key word spamming - at least im not a key word spammer anymore. anyways. the cannondale was great (so great i promised i would write a letter to cannondale - but never got round to it) but the more you tour the more you know what you want. i didn't want the 700c wheels, i didn't want the drop bars (obviously), the truvativ self pulling cranks gave me hastle when i wanted to change the bottom bracket, i didn't want the aluminuim frame, the toe overlap was very frustrating, the bike came with an awful suspension seat post etc. i realised i wanted a touring bike that has been really thought about, more than something which had been adapted from another bike without too much thought. (no offence to any designers at cannondale)

Well thats half the reason the other half is that i just wanted a shiny new bike!!! ;D

Sorry the listing got pulled, Chris; better luck next time. Don't kick yourself for trying to do the right thing.

The good news is, there is proven interest in your bike and it should do well the next go-'round.

Selecting a bike for oneself is a process of self-discovery, and it can take awhile to learn what you want. I think you'll be happy with a Thorn, as it appears to address all your needs and requirements (and is new!  :D).

Best of luck!

Dan.
