Howdy Pilgrims,
I'm chasing a lugged/fillet brazed touring frame (derailer), possibly one of the older Thorn models (not sure if Thorn still makes lugged/fillet frames?). I'll be using a 26" wheelset with drum brakes and 50mm tyres, so I don't think the frame being for 26" or 700C will matter. I'm 6'1" with a standover height of about 88cm. My 'normal' bike size would be about 58cm in the seat tube. I'll be using butterfly bars and a riser stem above saddle height.
To be honest the bike will be used mostly for commuting with short cycle-camping trips thrown in. These camping trips will be on sealed, unsealed, fire-trail and no-path terrains.
My apologies for all of the information, I'm just assuming that most people on here have far more knowledge than I!
