I've just finished my first multi-day tour in 22 years; from Parliament House in Canberra to the Sydney Opera House.
A good section of the backroads part of the route was ideal for my Thorn Sherpa with its 2" schwalbe XR tyres.
It was my first tour on the bike, and I was very pleased with it in all respects.
The route I used may be of interest to others. It was a diverse, interesting and relatively traffic free...even the ride into busy Sydney. It took me 7 days but there are quite a few longer or shorter variations possible.
