Full-length shifter for rohloff

This looks interesting, it's an after-market full length shifter for the rohloff, meaning no sore thumb from the standard 'short' shifter!

It is a nice idea, but I now find it more comfy to ride with my hands resting on an Ergon grip rather than holding on to a round grip.

An Ergon GP1 Large grip cut down to 110mm is big enough for my hand and fits against the standard rohloff shifter.

I have yet to experience the sore thumb...

I imagine a full length shifter would be a pain if you are a strong climber and tend to wrestle with the bars when climbing - you could easily change gear unwittingly I would have thought....

When I first got my bike I would have bought one but for the high price. Now that I am used to the standard shifter I wouldn't bother with one even if it was cheaper.
