Picture of Thorn Painted "Billiard Cue" Option

The Thorn website of old had some photographs of Paint Finishes with the "Billiard Cue" options.  Has anyone a bicycle of this type they can upload a photograph so I can get a view as before I do a bike build-up.

I have just tried it and it worked for me, it should bring up a gallery with a couple of albums showing - clicking on the bike picture launches a viewer.
What is happening when you click on the link?

Try keying this address http://gallery.me.com/juliankettle into a browser, let me know what you see, pictures - error messages or what.

Thanks guys, the bike was a retirement present and I am delighted with it.
I was off on it for a couple of days cycle camping a couple of weeks ago and even had sunny weather here is Scotland! For those who like camping in comfort (me), the bike carries a heavy load impeccably.

hi julian i'll pop over to travelling light to have another look at your class bike.
but you know the one thing i dont like about the bike is all the cables,you would think being it's the top of the range thorn they could do a hell of a lot better job hideing all those cables.
my son's trek madone he has dura ace gear  but he has different cables on (sorry can't think of the name) but basically all the cables are hidden well up front that is.
yeah i think andy blance should have come up with a better system for rerouting cables.
other than that i would give my right arm to own one.

BTW - Julk I just noticed the Solidlights headlamp.  I've got one myself...anyways if yours is a few years old they offer an upgrade to a new version for a very reasonable cost..twice the brightness if I recall correctly.

I think the only way to make the cables blend in would be to paint them
Having full length outers means no water or grit gets in with the cables.
No easy way of routing the cables inside as the frame tubes are sealed and there are S&S couplers.

I bought a Supernova E3 asymmetric (glare free) a year ago to get the then brightest dynamo light. Of course, not long after, Solidlights came out with their upgrade so I got that done and it is worth having. Both lights are very bright.
I use the E3 for most road riding with traffic and the Solidlights if little traffic is expected on route as it puts more light up in front of you.
The Solidlights comes on at a slightly slower speed than the E3, both are driving a rear light and have a standlight facility. The E3 has no effect on my wireless computer. The Solidlights has a flashing mode.
I have no doubt that quite soon one of my sons will work out that with 2 front lights he will be able to borrow one if only he could have a dynohub front wheel for Christmas
