Aero bars on flatbar nomad mk3

it seems to me an odd build, the sort of cycling a Nomad seems most suitable for isn't really the sort of cycling that I'd choose a aero bars for, each to their own, there's no reason you shouldn't.  tt2cycletours, whose bike is in the thread above, chose it for the high BB as they use long cranks, it was the right choice for them, I just think that's an exceptional case.  There are several touring bars, with a forward position, such as the Koga Denham bars, which might be worth a look.
