Thorn Nomad Mk 1 - Ready for touring
« on: July 11, 2025, 05:41:44 PM »
Sadly the time has come for me to go electric and I am selling my much loved Nomad Mk 1. I bought it about 4 years ago from Julian’s House and they had restored the bike. Since then I have maintained and upgraded regardless of cost. The most recent upgrade was some more modern brakes, as the originals were not effective enough. The Brooks saddle will remain with me, but I will replace it with a new saddle from my new e-gravel bike. The Nomad has 26” wheels and 3 bottle cages. Frame has a few scratches but overall condition is excellent. I cannot upload photos for some reason but can email to you timreynolds887@gmail.com. I live near Salisbury and am looking for around £1000.

There should be some numbers and letters stamped into the frame; beneath the bottom bracket. Perhaps an LA somewhere. That'll confirm the size.

Hard to read but looks like 000799. I think bike is Large. I am 5’ 11” and fits well, but it would also suit someone a bit shorter or quite a bit taller, TER62

I should have added that the frame is Reynolds 531 Butted.
