so, im just thinking for fun about the extra option of having a set of wheels and tyres for fun summer rides where you want a bit more speed on heavier thorn frame
currently have sun Reno rims (18-25mm? not sure how to measure ) 2.00 schwalbe marathon plus tyres, as I wanted something I could go most places fearlessly and all year round ,and the seem ok to me
im a bit ignorant on what makes a bike faster or feel faster as far as these things go
in my head, thin narrow high pressure tyres and thin rims are fast and big chunky tractor tyres with lower pressure are slow
but maybe that's not the case
im looking to go fast..... but I would just like to go a bit faster than what my current setup can do
any thoughts?
I would still prefer a bomb proof tyre that's puncture proof/ resistance but could be open to something that offers more comfort/ speed
