Hi All!
It was my pleasure to meet Thorn Forum member George Hetrick today as he passed through Eugene Oregon on his way to Los Angeles and eventually home after his bicycle tour in Washington State's San Juan Islands.
Unfortunately, we only had about 10 minutes before his train departed but we made the most of it by packing a lot of pleasant conversation into the brief time we had to chat. It was a real treat to meet someone I've known online and have been friends with since 2012. George is a warm and friendly ambassador of good will and a really nice fellow; the meeting made my day.
