The cables coming from the Dynamo Hub down under the fork are in a seriously poor space and will one day be caught up in passing bushes brambles etc and torn free.
I copied Dan for this style of cabling, and did think that the cables might get caught on vegetation when riding on narrow paths. But the idea behind this is better weatherproofing, which is also a good feature as I live in an area with fairly high rainfall. So it was a choice between weather-proof and vegetation-proof.
So far I have not had any problems, despite having used bikes with this setup on survey work, which involves a lot of off-road cycling (and pushing).
