I bid £1508 using a sniper site. So may end up buying a new bike from Thorn.

Take decent weight as in touring but specifically for off road. Don't like suspension,  rear in particular is useless other than downhill.
Rim brakes but will use the rigida rims the ones that have had carbon fired at them at 7 times the speed of sound. My rims show no signs of wear after 20, 000 km from previous owner.
Hub dynamo.
Good handling off road.
Off hand that's it.
It does hurt me to buy new so will keep an eye on ebay and gumtree.
