What is an "inline" seat post? I've never heard that term before.

Dave,

I think it is the same as a "zero-offset" seatpost -- no layback, so the clamp is centered (inline) over the shaft.

All the best,

Dan.

Cheers Bob  no i didn't to be honest i have my eye on one on CRC 40 euro look's like it will be ok,
i have the Audax built up  my son just finished it 10 minutes ago looks fantastic well pleased but i might need to  shove the saddle forward  the inline seatpost will give me more room to play about with ;)
im gonna give the new baby a test spin later on tonight just fitting the lights  pity i don't have mudguards it's feckin lashing rain outside , but as me cousin  (Sean Kelly)  said ,you don't know how bad the weather is until you go out in it .
