is this the correct cable?

Can anyone tell me if this cable can be used as a quick disconnect for a son edelux light? I'm looking for something to split the cable instead of having to disconnect at the hub when taking the wheel off.

The are really good connectors though you do need experience of soldering small electrical components as the terminals are quite small and fiddly.

I'm a soldering novice unfortunately. I did eventually manage to get the connectors soldered but it was a botch job. I need loads more practice before I attempt to do the same again.

I was recently asked to solder someones circuit board as I had steady hands.

Having done lots of soldering wanted to make sure I did it right and went to Youtube to get pointers from what looked like a 12 year boy at his mothers kitchen table.
Funnily he was an excellent tutor.

The main thing is to keep the soldering iron tip super clean.
Have a wet sponge handy and clean regularly. Heat from underneath and allow the soldering to melt into the wire.

The circuit board turned out good too.
