I found myself with some extra money and thought " What can I do with it? Buy something for the bike, of course!" So, between a weekend pleasure trip to Seattle, the home of Compass Bicycles/Bicycle Quarterly, and some internet shopping, I now have a lifetime supply of Rolloff oil and threaded cogs, a new SP dynohub, and these:
I also picked up a pair of Sun Rhyno Lite XL rims which the new dynohub and the Rohloff will be laced to. My DT Swiss rim cracked so the Rolloff was going to be re-laced regardless.
I will be doing a tour of the International Selkirk Loop in September so I will have a good opportunity to test the new gear and report back.
