Wonderful, Alfie!

So glad you're having a wonderful time in good weather. Enjoy!

Of course, it won't be your last time there, if this song is true:

Hi Lads,

This is a place you cannot get enough of. Still practicing my speech for the big day :'(, so even without the heat I'm sweating buckets  Sorry about your weather Anto, maybe tomorrow the sun will shine for you.

Regards Alfie

Alfie - good luck with the speech.
My son is getting married in Italy next year.
Let me know how Italian weddings work.
Does the father of the bridegroom make a speech?
Is yours in Italian?

Any tips much appreciated.

Matt

Ahh, Sorrento...... !! lovely place, though it gets a bit cramped and crowded with traffic in places.

If you should happen to see this gent in his photo store, say g'day from me.

Hi Matt,
I don't think the grooms father is obliged to do a speech. I do however as the father of the bride, and it will be in English ( Scottish accent ). I will let you know how things go. I'm sure you will like it here

il padrone.

The wedding is taking place at the cloisters, with the reception at the Grand Royal where the bride and groom are staying, this overlooks the bay.we were at the square Piazzo Tasso having a meal ,is your friend close to there as we will be going back that way. As you say very, very busy place.

Regards Alfie

Sugar almonds as confetti?
Jeezo! Could take someone's eye out with them!

Any other Italian wedding traditions I should know about?
