Western Isles Scotland
« on: July 06, 2015, 07:51:23 PM »
After watching the documentary on the Highland, Glens and Western Isles Audax, I've had a hankering to ride the route myself - http://www.aukweb.net/events/detail/14-393/

So on Tuesday 14th, for 7 days I'm off to enjoy the scenery on my club tour,

Oh! What a lovely bike and setup, Carlos. All best wishes for a safe, enjoyable trip filled with all the "right" kinds of Adventure.

Best,

I did ask the missus if she had and 'skin so soft' in the beauty bag, to which she replied........

Yes they are on special offer 2 for 1, somehow I don't think she means I can 'borrow' 1 and not replace it  ::)

Are you doing the whole route? (1300K I seem to remember.) I did a little of it a couple of weeks ago and had a great time in spite of indifferent weather.  The scenery is fantastic.

Yes sorry should have said the Dry Oil spray - hair remover not recommended  ;D

The plan is to do the whole 1300km, but as I only have the 7 days as long I get round the west / north coast to Inverness, I'll be happy.

Sorry Jags I don't have the link though can upload it to dropbox if you want.....
